Mojo Monday 238 - Grunge Rock

I'm baaaack!
I gave my Dad a membership to ancestry.ca to research our
family tree and that has been consuming a lot of my time lately.
Today I decided to recharge my creative juice using
this week's sketch over at Mojo Monday.

I pondered this design all day yesterday and decided to use the retiring stamp set Grunge Rock.

I used Stampin' Up!'s Color Coach to choose my colour combination and I really like it!  I sponged around the edges of the grid layer after roughing them up with the cutter kit.  I just love how the grid design turned out although I am not thrilled with the sentiment layer.  I had a picture in my head and it did not turn out like I had hoped.  Oh well, still a great card I think (for a guy too!).
